Starts with Civilian Investigaot Carter outlining the purpose of the interview as in relation to an alleged abuser of Witness 195 whilst he was a resident of the children's home Haut de la Garenne. Describes Witness 195's emotional response upon reading through his witness statement provided to the police in December 2003 [C/D/AW1/B1/2/1/19/WS000200]. Comments on accuracy of dates provided by Witness 195 in his original statement to the Police. Recalls being aged 6 when he first went to the Home [Haut de la Garenne], noting that attendance at Grouville School between the ages of 6 and 11 coincided with time at Haut de la Garenne. Also refers to brief period of attendance at Vauxhall School. Recalls living at Haut de la Garenne between the ages of 6 and 14, citing mother's illness as reason for placement at the home. Describes being removed from St Helier Boys' School aged 14 to be sent to an approved school.
