Outlines rules in respect of the use of detention rooms at Haut de la Garenne, noting that only the Superintendent and Matron, or in their absence the Deputy Superintendent, in consultation with the Children's Officer is permitted to place a child in the detention room. Details restrictions on the length of time children not sent to Haut de la Garenne on a Court Order to be detained or an remand may be placed in a detention room, stipulating that all children must be seen by the Medical Officer of Health after 48 hours.
