Refers to applications by Wateridge and a female member of staff at Haut de la Garenne for the posts of Houseparents with Llewellyn's Authority. Notes their employment in charge of the Senior Group at Haut de la Garenne since November 1970. Act of the Education Committee dated 29 November 1973 signed by the Greffier of the States, E J M Potter. Refers to allegations of assault made against Gordon Wateridge by a male resident at Haut de la Garenne. Notes decision that in the event of the allegation being proved, Wateridge should be dismissed forthwith. Notes direction given to the Children's Officer to investigate the incident. 9. Letter of Appointment dated 6 November 1970 from H C A Wimberley, Director of Education to Gordon Wateridge. Offers Wateridge and a female individual a joint appointment at Haut de la Garenne. Gives details of salaries, probationary period to be completed, leave entitlement, sick leave and medical exmination requirements. Notes expectation that Wateridge and the female individual take up their appointment at Haut de la Garenne on 27 November 1970. Countersigned by Wateridge and the female individual confirming their acceptance of the joint appointment at Haut de la Garenne.
