Provides an assessment of Witness 172's behaviour, attitude and personality during his six months as a resident at Haut de la Garenne. Includes comments about regularity of school attendance, cleanliness, good relationship with other children and membership of a Youth Club. Includes a medical assessment of Witness 172, mentioning chronic nocturnal enuresis upon admission and treatment for a defect by Mr Hartnam [possibly Dr Harthan] at the General Hospital. Also comments on a incident whereby Witness 172 admitted stealing cigarettes and cigars from a shop in St Saviour's Road but later paid for the stolen items and apologised to the shop owner. Also includes Witness 172's account of events upon being interviewed by Tilbrook, mentioning role of his sister. Describes Witness 172 being visited by his mother and sister at Haut de la Garenne, including comments by one of his relatives in respect of his actions, mentioning promise made by the Constable of St Helier with regards to Witness 172 staying at home. Cites Witness 172's enuresis and stealing incident as reason for recommendation that Witness 172 remain at Haut de la Garenne for help and training.
