Relates to the discovery of an individual's body a day after his appearance with two other boys before the Police Court. Refers to Magistrate Michael Newell's initial decision not to proceed with the case against the three boys until legal representation for the boys had been secured. Comments on the individual's transfer to Haut de la Garenne, and a request by the Children's Officer [Patricia Thornton] that the individual be placed in the care of [an individual or institution].
