Scope and Content

Describes witness statement as the ninth made by her in relation to the case against Morag Kidd. Outlines the purpose of the statement being to explain any contact she has had with anybody in relation to Haut de la Garenne. Refers to owning a laptop computer, asserting to only use it for eBay. Refers to registration on Facebook for the purpose of talking to her daughter, stating that she has never used it. Refers to email correspondence with a female individual with whom she discusses the impact of her experiences at Haut de la Garenne. Notes that the woman lived near Haut de la Garenne when Witness 192 was in residence and was contemporaneously aware of Witness 192's experiences. Refers to regular contact with her sister, referring to incident 18 months prior whereby she told her sister about her experiences at Haut de la Garenne whilst intoxicated. Recalls that incident happened on the day of It's the Knock Out [It's a Knockout] at Havre des Pas. States to have no contact with one brother. States that she has not discussed Haut de la Garenne with another brother. Provides details of contact with other people, including her children, ex-husband, former partners, current partner and a woman she describes as a real mother to her. States to have had limited contact with former residents at Haut de la Garenne, and details on any discussion she has had with any individuals. Describes discussing her past with friends she met at Highlands College in September 2009, as well as her tutor, teachers and the counsellor at Highlands, Vicky. Provides details of other counselling received, including Sarah Reeves and Shelley Le Main at Overdale [Hospital], Anne and Julie from Victim Support Services and Ray Alexander from the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children. Names Dr Philip Venne of Cleveland Clinic as her doctor since 2006, referring to speaking to him about her experiences. Mentions that she provided a photograph showing Jimmy Saville [Savile] and a group of children to [a journalist] after seeing an article in The Sun about Haut de la Garenne asking for information.
