States to not recognise the name Tony Watton. Describes incidents of physical abuse by [a member of staff at Haut de la Garenne] brought in from Les Chênes to deal with difficult children. Describes [the staff member] as a bully, stating that he also witnessed [the member of staff] physically abuse other residents including Witness 391. Refers to other members of staff expressing disapproval of his actions. Describes incidents whereby he was physically abused and goaded by [the member of staff] to hit him, including occasion involving a number of residents including himself and Witness 391. Also includes comments about the regime of the home under Morag Kidd and Tony Jordan, describing it as harsh and oppressive, referring to daily chastisement. Comments on contact with former residents from Haut de la Garenne, including Witness 391, since leaving care. Describes contact with one former resident rhoguh Facebook and occasional contact with Witness 391 since making original complaint to the Police. States to not be a member of the [Jersey] Care Leavers' Association.
