11. Holidays for Family Group Homes. Refers to the Children's Officer making provisional plans for holidays for Family Groups, mentioning two Family Groups holidaying out of Jersey each year. 12. Children (Jersey) Law 1969. Refers to a suggestion by the Children's Officer that certificates of registration be issued to daily minders and people running voluntary homes or day nurseries if up to required standards and names reported monthly to Committee. 13. Registration of Nurseries and Child Minders. Refers to details relating to the Registration of Nurseries and Child Minders had been advertised in the Evening Post Gazette, and posters being printed for display. 14. Nominations for Co-opted Members. Refers to Mrs E F Bell of Mont au Prêtre and Mrs K Prax of 1 St Brelade's Close, Mont Gras d'Eau as possible replacements as co-opted members of the Sub-Committee. 15. Inspection of Children's Department. Refers to letter from the Bailiff regarding arrangements for HM [Her Majesty's Inspectors] from the Children's Department at the Home Office to inspect the work of the Children's Department and residential homes in April 1970. 16. Association of Child Care Officers Conference. Refers to Child Care Officer J H [Jim] Thomson's membership of the Association of Child Care Officers and his request for permission to attend their annual conference in April 1970. Recommends that Child Care Staff should be given the opportunity to attend one professional conference each year. 17. Children's Officers' Study. Refers to the Children's Officer's request for permission to attend the Children's Officers' Study Conference at St Hilda's College, Oxford during August 1970. 18. Residential Task in Child Care. Refers to the booklet in question. 19. Juvenile Court. Refers to a list from the Bailiff's Secretary of those who would be willing to serve on the Juvenile Court Panel. Notes an invitation for the Director of Education and the Children's Officer to attend a meeting at the Bailiff's Chambers during January 1970 to discuss the matter. 20. Date of Next Meeting. States that the next meeting of the Sub Committee will be held on 18 February 1970 at the Education Department.
