Digital copy of a Letter from the Westaway Trust Honorary Secretary to [Witness 30's] Parent or Guardian. Taken from the Children's Services client file of Witness 30.
December 15th 1981 - December 15th 1981
|Scope and Content|
Refers to Director of Education John Rodhouse. Notes that for the first time in several years, the Council has had to limit the number of pairs of shoes available to be bought from the income of [Westaway] Trust. Notes that where possible, pairs of shoes have been allocated to older children in families, noting the increase in price of shoes with size. Refers to the ability to exchange the enclosed docket or dockets at Beghin's, King Street. Regrets the lack of supplementary issue for school clothing for the Autumn. For a copy of this letter, see C/D/AW1/A3/6/2/6/WD004434.
