Notes absences from Deputy [Anne] Baal, Deputy [Enid] Quenault, and a representative from Haut de la Garenne. Discusses provison for childcare within the island of Jersey. Refers to the total of places available in residential care for children, also mentioning provision available at the JAYF [Jersey Association for Youth and Friendship] Hostels. Provides details of alternative placements considered for Haut de la Garenne residents. Refers to need to negotiate a new working relationship with the Committees at Brig-y-don [Children's Home] and La Préférence [Children's Home], and to discuss Brig-y-don and La Préférence's views on their future in relation to the Child Care Service.
