Lists John Le Marquand (Deputy of St Helier, President), J W Baudains (Constable of St Lawrence), Mrs P Green (Deputy of St Saviour), the Reverend R J Rider (Deputy of St Helier), R Vibert (Deputy of St Brelade) and R F Le Brocq (Deputy of St Clement) as present at the meeting and H C A Wimberley (Director of Education), Lieutenant Colonel N Le M Stevenson (Chief Clerk) and Miss K E Chalker (Secretary) as in attendance. Items include: (1) approval of the minutes of the meeting held on 12 May 1959; (2) authorisation of payment of accounts; and (3) approval of a plan for proposed extensions to La Moye School. Also includes item (4) relating to child welfare, noting decision to recommend the States to approve the preparation of scheme for the reconstruction of the Jersey Home for Boys to accommodate boys, girls and babies and to approve the inclusion in the Committee's estimates for 1960 for the building or purchase of three Family Group Homes.
