• Matters arising from the previous Children's Officer's Report. Refers to frozen posts having been unfrozen, referring to the appointment of Daniel Wherry and Marta Pugsley to two Child Care Officer posts and plans to make appointments to three preventative care posts. Provides details about the experience and qualifications of Mr Wherry and Mrs Pugsley. Also refers to agreement that a proposition seeking permission to establish a hostel for homeless teenagers can go before the States for debate and provides details about a major fostering campaign mounted to recruit long and short-term foster parents, referring to advertisment in the Jersey Evening Post, posters and appearance by the Fostering Officer on Radio Jersey.
