Scope and Content | Refers to the Children's Officer having been informed of the seperation of the houseparents of Le Squez Family Group Home [and previously of Norcott Villa Family Group Home]. Refers to discussion between the Director of Education, the Senior Child Care Officer, and the Children's Officer, and agreement for children resident to remain with the housemother in the short term. Provides details of recommendations following a discussion dated 15 January 1980 between the Chairman of the Children's Sub-Committee, the Director of Education, the Senior Child Care Officer, and the Children's Officers. Refers to the housemother's transfer to a vacant post at Haut de la Garenne at her own request, support to be given to the housemother via the Housing Committee, advertisements intended to recruit a locally marrried couple where the wife would be employed as housemother and the husband would follow his own occupation, and the housemother's intention to foster a child. Notes approval of recommendations, and approval to delete the term "Family" from the new Group Home establishment to allow the maximum number of children to be accommodated to be increased to 10. |
