Background and Home Life Gives details of background and early years at home. Born in Jersey and placed into care aged 3 months, citing violent father as reason. Talks of involvement in a serious accident aged 7, mentioning time spent in hospital and impact on memory with respect to life before the age of 7. Institutions Includes references to his time in a Children’s Home and in foster care [at a Family Group Home]. Placed into a Children’s Home aged 3 months up until the age of 7. Moved to [a Family Group Home] aged 7. Recollections of the property, including memories of the room layout. Comments on the property’s Edwardian style. Notes how foster children were prohibited from accessing certain areas of the home. Also includes recollections of other children in residence and foster parents.
