Refers to a study conducted by Police Constable Rotherham following concern raised by uniformed personnel that cases were being dealt with a Police Court by offering no evidence. Expresses concern about the number of cases where an officer in the case or the victim have not been consulted prior to the case being dropped, proposing direct liaison with the Centenier to discuss the problem of consultation. Refers to informing Centenier Mike Patton (Chef de Police of St Helier) of an audit of 1997 and further contact with the Honorary Police, the Attorney General and the Solicitor General.
