Scope and Content

Names Thomas Hamon as the suspect, referring to his year of birth in 1937 in Jersey, listing his occupation as retired. Refers to 13 victims in total, noting guidance from Crown Advocates Le Cocq and MaCrae [McCrae] to have charges brought in respect of eight of the victims. Includes details about Hamon, noting his employment at Haut de la Garenne and position as Superintendent of St John Ambulance Brigade uring which time the majority of the offences occurred. Notes Hamon having a previous conviction in 1988 for indecent assault on a juvenile member of St John Ambulance, receiving one year probation.
