Refers to advice by the Solicitor General to Bill Ogley on the matter of the Police Force (Jersey) Law 1974 sent on 26 September 2008 and a subsequent meeting on 31 October [2008] and memorandum dated 1 November 2008 regarding the decision in respect of a suspension. Includes comments about Article 9 of the Police Force (Jersey) Law 1974 in relation to disciplinary procedures relating to the Chief Officer of the States of Jersey Police and issues arising from it, noting conclusion that the approach followed in the States was correct.
