Scope and Content

Provides information about his background, referring to his time as a politician holding the roles of Deputy and Senator between April 1999 and December 2011. Sets out details of the committee style of government in operation during his term as Senator his involvement in the Health and Social Services Committee from 22 June 1999. Includes comments about the culture of the States of Jersey, particularly the culture and behaviour of senior members of the States establishment. Outlines specific concerns and instances of relevance to the Inquiry, referring to a number of matter including: committee meeting minutes, concerns regarding the renal ward at the General Hospital, treatment of health professionals, the mental health system in Jersey, water and air quality concerns, the focus on finance and its impact on other services, speaking out and control, the treatment of Lenny Harper and Graham Power, and the people in power.
