Explains the motivation behind his involvement in investigating child abuse in Jersey, citing his reaction to the Liberation Day speech made by the Bailiff of Jersey Philip Bailhache on 9 May 2008. Also refers to Operation Rectangle being made public and the concerns surrounding Haut de la Garenne, mentioning his residence near the Home and visits there through his involvement with the Youth Service. Describes entering the blogging community, referring to participation on the forum Planet Jersey and meeting with voiceforchildren in 2010. Describes decision to blog in his own name and details action taken to learn about the system of government in Jersey. Refers to agreement that he would concentrate on investigating the suspension of Graham Power, while voiceforchildren would focus on Lenny Harper. Describes being subject to verbal abuse including racial abuse on his blog. Includes remarks about the culture of establishment, mentioning comments made by Bill Ogley.
