Scope and Content

Lists Senator R R Jeune (Chairman), Deputy A D Le Brocq, Mrs P L Crill, Jurat J Vint and the Reverend B Coleman as present. Also lists J Rodhouse (Director of Education), [a member of staff at Les Chênes], and A J Skinner (Senior Child Care Officer) as in attendance. Matters Arising: Refers to deferral of the question of revised salary scales. Official opening date: Discusses the date to be set for the official opening Les Chênes, noting postponement of the previously agreed date due to the incompletion of the building programme. Sets the new official opening date at 30 August [1979], outlining plans in respect of the official opening ceremony. Building Progress Report: Provides comments on the progress of the building, referring to a delay in works and comments about the standard of work carried out. Refers to recommendations of the Chief Fire Officer in respect of two attic rooms.
