Provides details of a conversation with Deputy Simon of the St Helier Welfare Board on 19 November [1977] relating [a child's] mother receiving welfare benefit. Includes a description of situation of mother with respect to uncertainty surrounding money, food and accommodation. Discusses admission of [the child] to Brig-y-Don, and aversion expressed by [the child] and his mother with respect to possibility of readmission to Haut de la Garenne. Gives further details with respect to unsuitability of current living situation of [the child] and his mother. Also includes an update from the mother on 21 November [1977].
