Sets out details of his professional qualifications in the fields of nursing and teaching and an overview of his career as a clinical nurse practitioner, clinical teacher, lecturer and manager in the United Kingdom including as Director of Nursing for Clwyd Health Authority. Refers to his return to Jersey in 1985 to take on the role of postgraduate lecturer in the Health Department, mentioning various service development and managerial positions held by him before becoming Deputy Chief Executive in 1989 and Chief Executive in 1996 up until his retirement on health grounds in 2002. Includes comments about the case of Jane and Alan Maguire, recalling that in 1997 he was briefed by Anton Skinner or Marnie Baudains about allegations made by former residents of the Family Group Home at Blanche Pierre previously run by houseparents Jane and Alan Maguire.
