Includes comments about the provision for short-stay and long-stay children, capacity to accommodate larger families and remarks about its location. Includes comments about staff development, including remarks about the opportunities for further training, naming the Central Training Council for Education and Training in Social Work as the appropriate body to advise on all aspects of training and staff development. Refers to the issue of limited cross-fertilisation of ideas and approaches, outlining possible solutions to this problem with regards to training. Also includes comments about the problem of recruitment and details possible solutions to issues of training.
