Includes an update on the remand centre [Les Chênes School], referring to an inspection carried out at the facility in 2001 and details of recommendations made in respect of strategic planning, school planning, secure unit provision, behaviour management, use of physical force, staffing, staff training, and premises and accommodation. Outlines action taken in respect of these recommendation and details problems to have occurred or continued since the 2001 inspection.
