Notes the purpose of the report to understand the function and purpose of the specialist CAMHS in Jersey and its aim to advise on improvements to services provided to children, young people and their families who need to access specialist CAMHS in Jersey. Includes background information about CAMHS in Jersey and details about the process of the report. Outlines findings and recommendations in respect of a number of matters including: the service provision of specialist CAMHS, governance and information management, early intervention (tiers one and two) and emergency access and inpatient provision. Finishes with a conclusion about how comprehensive CAMHS in Jersey should be provided through effective multi-agency practice, noting need to reflect local need and changing demand, matters for consideration for all services involved in working wiht cihldren and young people, and areas to focus on for future development of services.
