Includes comments about a female remanded to Les Chênes following her arrest due to having committed a number of offences and being in breach of a probation order and a male remanded to Les Chênes after being arrested when he was in breach of bail conditions. Includes comments about pupil distribution and remarks about staffing pressures caused by the the remanding of two girls on a 24-hour curfew. Provides details of a discussion with the magistrates regarding problems faced by the school in terms of student numbers, particularly in relation to remand cases. Also details about developments in respect of staffing, information about visitors to Les Chênes, remarks about the curriculum, details about professional development and staff training and details about plans for the redevelopment of the school. Also details findings of a Validated School Self Evaluation conducted in January  particularly in relation to education provision and safety matters.
