Scope and Content

Identifies actions required against fourteen recommendations contained in a report of the findings of an inspection of Jersey's children's services carried out by the Care Inspectorate in 2011. Includes an introduction providing background information to the report and lists reports identified and used in cross-references relevant to Children's Services. Sets out details regarding the structure of the report, provides an update in respect of Quarter 4 2013 and provides a year end 2013 update. Includes an analysis of recommendations delivered during the period, recommendations where significant progress against actions has been made and recommendations whose commencement has been delayed and an analysis in respect of 2014 developments. Identifies recommendations in respect of each of the reports identified in turn, detailing action, timescale for completion and a progress rating. Also includes two appendices detailing recommendations actions signed off by the Children's Policy Group as being completed in 2012 and recommendations and actions transferred in 2013 from the Service Improvement Plan to under each of the Working Groups operating under the Children and Young People's Strategic Framework.
