Outlines procedures to assist case officers and their respective line managers in the delivery of good practice standards for children who enter the looked after system. Sets out procedures relating to four sections: making a placement, planning and reviewing process, placement with relatives or friends, and permanence planning. Also includes a section detailing definitions and meanings in relation to parental responsibility to assist in understanding legal aspects, relating to Looked After Children, using the Children (Jersey) Law 2002.
