Includes the policy statement and outlines policy with regards to: criminal records and the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Jersey) Law 2001; levels of disclosure; other disclosures; costs of disclosures; staff recruited form overseas; portable CRB [Criminal Record Bureau] checks; declaration of convictions applying to all applicants; ID verification; decision to employ; and handling and safekeeping of the CRB disclosure checks. Includes the following appendices: Appendix 2: Extract from the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Jersey) Law 2001: Article 3 relating to rehabilitation periods for particular sentences.
