|Scope and Content|
• Paedophile's honorary post 'should have been revoked'. Relates to comments made by former Constable of St Helier Bob Le Brocq in his evidence to the Independent Jersey Care Inquiry that Roger Holland should have had his appointment to the honorary police revoked but the then Attorney General Sir Philip Bailhache failed to act when he became aware of Holland's conviction for indecently assaulting a 14 year old girl in 1986. Refers to Mr Le Brocq and former Chef de Police Ted Gallichan having been investigated in the early 2000s over claims that they failed to act properly over further allegations made against Holland, detailing Mr Le Brocq's response to this. • Funding doubt for inquiry proposals. Sets out comments made by former Home Affairs Minister Ian Le Marquand in his evidence to the Independent Jersey Care Inquiry that he doubts whether recommendations the Inquiry makes will be fully implemented, citing funding issues. Includes comments by Mr Le Marquand about his experience of dealing with young offenders in his role as Magistrate.
