• Ex-police chief at inquiry / Ex-police chief at abuse inquiry. Relates to claims made by former police chief Graham Power in his evidence to the Independent Jersey Care Inquiry that politicians were more concerned about protecting Jersey's reputation than uncovering child abuse and protecting abuse victims corruption. Includes comments about Mr Power's relationship with ministers and civil servants particularly in relation to the removal of Health Minister Stuart Syvret from the Council of Ministers, comments about a Corporate Management Board held to discuss the matter and comments about remarks made by Bill Ogley during this meeting. • Abuse inquiry hears of leaks to the media. Relates to allegations made by former police chief Graham Power in his evidence to the Independent Jersey Care Inquiry that sensitive information was leaked to the media during the police investigation into historical child abuse. Refers to an incident involving a photographer from the News of the World and includes comments about the police's media strategy, and in particular Lenny Harper's handling of the media, during the police investigation.
