Images of veterinary nurses caring for a dog, and views of the Dogs' Hospital. The images relate to the opening of the Dogs' Hospital and a visit by Sir Robert Gower, Chairman of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) [see JWP 4/2/1939 p 1, 6 and 7]. The images were produced from the negatives depicted in Contact Sheet 5 of Red Contact File 12 from the Jersey Evening Post (JEP) Photographic Archive.
Negatives have been scanned at 1200 dpi and can be downloaded as high quality jpg files. The quality of the images is dependent on the condition of the original.
