Images which concern the presentation of a silver cup to baby Joan Ann Collas by Lady Grasett. Baby Joan was the 2000th baby to be born at the Jersey Dispensary since July 1940, when it changed its' role from that of an infirmary to that of a maternity home. Joan is pictured with her mother and father Mr G J Collas [see JWP 8/2/1947 p 1]. The images were produced from the negatives depicted in Contact Sheet 19 of Red Contact File 19 from the Jersey Evening Post (JEP) Photographic Archive.

Negatives have been scanned at 1200 dpi and can be downloaded as high quality jpg files. The quality of the image is dependent on the condition of the original.
