Images which concern a visit made by an Evening Post Photographer in the Jersey Airways aeroplane Belcroute Bay to the Brighton Empire Air Day display at Shoreham Airport. The images include aerial photographs, possibly of France and Worthing, the River Adur Estuary, Shoreham Airfield, refuelling, crowds of spectators, and the control tower [see JWP 4/6/1938 p 7 and 11]. The images were produced from the negatives depicted in Contact Sheet 7 of Red Contact File 9 from the Jersey Evening Post (JEP) Photographic Archive.

Negatives have been scanned at 1200 dpi and can be downloaded as high quality jpg files. The quality of the images is dependent on the condition of the original.
