Images of passengers on board a ship, including a musician - music a la mode de Bretagne, and dancers dancing on deck. The images concern the departure from St Malo and arrival in Jersey of French agricultural workers for the potato season. Passengers are also pictured disembarking from the ship on arrival in Jersey [see JWP 24/5/1947 p 3]. The images were produced from the negatives depicted in Contact Sheet 15 of Red Contact File 20 from the Jersey Evening Post (JEP) Photographic Archive.

Negatives have been scanned at 1200 dpi and can be downloaded as high quality jpg files. The quality of the images is dependent on the condition of the original.
