Includes newscuttings of: an order of the Military Commandant of the Channel Islands concerning requisitioning the furniture and household effects, the property of former householders in Jersey who are at present absent from the Island; an order of the Military Commandant of the Island of Jersey concerning the preparation of a further list of motor cars and lorries suitable from military use; a notice appealing for 200 men for constructional and digging work for the Engineering Office at the Airport; a notice by the Constable of St Helier concerning warning lamps; a notice concerning the declaration of the property of USSR nationals; and articles concerning the macaroni ration, the barley flour ration for juveniles, the butter ration and the tobacco ration.
