Includes newscuttings of: an extract of an article concerning a case in the Royal Court against Frank Newey, George Achilles Ameghino and Arthur Albert Huson charged with selling and buying goods on the black market, detailing the court's findings; a notice issued by the Department of Essential Commodities regarding an increase in the butter ration, and article about said notice; an article published in the Roll of Honour column regarding the deaths of Private E R Coombs and Driver M Turner; an order of the German military authorities registered by Act of the Royal Court dated 5 December 1941 for safeguarding the peaceful carrying on of work; a notice by the Milk Control Office concerning the commencement of milk collection; and the Home-Grown Hay (Maximum Price) (Jersey) Order 1941.
