Includes newscuttings of: Directions dated 17 March 1943 under the Controlled Articles (Retailers) (Jersey) Order 1942; a notice issued by the Departments of Agriculture and Labour regarding authorisation granted to the Forestry Department to issue permits to farmers to cut branches overshadowing their crops; a notice by the Food Control Office regarding non-availability of the meat ration; and a notice issued by the Food Control Office concerning the availability of jam, washing powder and cheese on ration.
