Cour du Cattel Register. One of the divisions of the Royal Court in which the Bailiff sat with three jurats it was the court of appeal from the seigneural courts and also dealt with some criminal cases prior to 1797. Post 1797 criminal cases were heard in the newly created Poursuite Criminelles [D/Y/G1]. This court was abolished in 1862. This volume has been digitised and indexed. Bail à fin d'Héritage between Martin Gavey younger son of the late Benjamin Gavey of the first party and Aaron Ahier of the second party. Records the lease in perpetuity from 1 to 2 of 5 vergees of land in the Clos de Frevent, St Saviour, Fief de St Ouen for the sum of the discharge of rente to be paid to Benjamin La Cloche and also for the sum of 18 cabots of wheat of rente. Registered October 1660.
