Images taken for a feature on significant disruption at Jersey Airport due to severe fog. Includes images of large piles of luggage belonging to fogbound passengers outside the terminals [A - C, N - O, Q, U], the airport entrance [D - G], aeroplanes landing and taking off in the fog [H - M, P, Z - AA], the taxiway and terminal area [P, R - T], and two men talking in the airport car park [V - Y]. This spell of fog caused particular disruption as it coincided with the weekend following the 1979 Battle of Flowers, leaving some 11,000 people, mainly holidaymakers, stranded on island.

Images of the Jersey Airport Fire Service at the scene of an accident whereby a British Midland Airways Viscount [G-AZLR] was blown off the runway at the Airport. All 22 people, including 18 passengers and four crew, aboard the plane were unhurt when the aircraft veered off the runway soon after its arrival from Southend.
