Contract and [English translation] appointing new trustees to the Beaumont Chapel Trust, between Edwin John Ashelford only surviving trustee of Beaumont Chapel and Schoolroom, of the first party, and the said Edwin John Ashelford, John Gordon Cabot, Thomas William Chapman and Gladys Mabel Grandin his wife, Claude Symonds Dart and Eva Emma de la Mare his wife, Richard Hubert Ford and Ada Florence Kelland his wife, Arthur Philip Hamon and Winifred Ada Coombs his wife, Alice Elizabeth de la Haye, Sydney Scarborough Hocquard and Florence de la Mare his wife, trustees named and appointed at a meeting of the said Edwin John Ashelford and the Reverend Arthur Herbert Wilks Superintendent Minister of the English Methodist Circuit called Great Union Road Circuit of the second party and the said Reverend Arthur Herbert Wilks Superintendent Minister of the said circuit representing the Methodist Conference of the third party. [Under the Methodist Church Union Act 1929 all Weslyan Methodist Church Property held in trust is to be vested in trustees]. The said Edwin John Ashelford resigns his position and the above named trustees are appointed to be in posession of the property known as Beaumont Chapel from this date.
