Petition states, 'The humble petition of the residents of Le Marais Estate situated in the Parish of St Clement, other residents of the Parish of St Clement and others shews that the residents of Le Marais Estate and its environs will be severely disadvantaged by loss of amenities and suffer a reduction in their quality of life as a result of the provision of any further dwelling units on Le Marais Estate, particularly as shown on drawing number 3339/1, and further that all ratepayers of the Parish of St Clement are likely to be financially penalized by the provision of further States Rental dwelling units at Le Marais Estate and other places in the Parish and accordingly your petitioners pray that no further dwellings be built or otherwise provided at Le Marais Estate situated in the Parish of St Clement and your petitioners as in duty bound will ever pray.'
