Images of the congregation taking part in a service at St. James's Church. Now known as the St. James' Centre, operated by the Jersey Youth Service, in 1980 the Church was the largest of the island's Anglican Churches, but hosted a congregation reguarly in the single figures. The Reverend Jeffrey Hollis, aware of the difficulties in keeping such a large building available for a small number of people, was determined to keep the church open for as long as possible, although he admitted that the Church could not continue indefinitely.
