Mrs Conway speaks about her life in Millbrook, the family, burying the family gun, the uncle bringing fish, her Red Cross parcel, he first orange. moving near te german hospital, the tunnel being open to the visitors, working at a café serving the tourist near the tunnels, playing in the tunnel, a man making pottery, watching the Breton dance and sing, the trees, the brownies camping near her house, going to St Lawrence school, having a party for the coronation, and her coronation and liberation medals.

Mrs Blosseville speaks about living near the underground hospital, the hospital being a tourist attraction, soldiers visiting it, her house with no electricity, the hospital being a place of reunion for the Breton Workers and after an air crash, it being used as a morgue, the trees and the flowers planted around the area, collecting cone, nuts, berries and flowers, going to St Lawrence Primary School, going to the Battle of Flowers and the International road race, and the death of the King.
