Refers to Kathleen watching a solar eclipse on Dial Hill in Clevedon, includes comments about a school bazaar in the public hall to raise money for the Waifs and Strays Society, and discusses news about friends and family in Jersey. Includes original envelope addressed to K H Le Sueur, Richmond House, Millbrook with one red 1½d postage stamp. [The eclipse referred was the first total solar eclipse visible from the mainland United Kingdom for 203 years].
