Images of Major James Lewis Rowland Huelin at his home in the island. Major Huelin, known as Bob, was a prisoner of war during the Second World War, and the final camp of his five year captivity was at Colditz Castle. These images were taken to commemorate the thirty fifth anniversary since Major Huelin's release from the camp. On the 7th March 1980, the Imperial War Museum in London held a meeting for those who had been imprisoned at Colditz Castle, which is where the photograph of the Castle may be from.
