Photograph Album belonging to an unidentified German soldier [?Hans Mûller]. The album follows the soldier's movements and begins at an unidentified training camp then contains postcards of Arnhem, The Netherlands and St Malo followed by photographs of the boat journey from St Malo to St Helier Harbour in Jersey. The Jersey section of the album includes postcards of St Brelade's Bay, Mont Orgueil, Devil's Hole, Demi-des-Pas, La Collette, St Catherine's, St Aubin, L'Etacq, Portelet Bay, St Clement's Bay, Grouville Bay, Plemont, St Helier Harbour and Bouley Bay. The photographs taken in Jersey include the cranes at St Helier Harbour, the arrival of military equipment at St Helier Harbour, groups of soldiers cleaning their boots, firing practice in a field near the Moulin de Grouville, soldiers moving a piece of rock with Corbiere in the background, groups of soldiers celebrating Christmas, a solder standing overlooking St Ouen's Bay with La Rocco Tower in the background. The album includes pictures of the burial of Ernst Dittloff but it is uncertain whether this event took place in Jersey. The album also contains letters to Wilhelmine Mûller and Hans Mûller and a card of capture for Prisoners of War sent by Hans Mûller to Wilhelmine Mûller.
