Images which relate to processions, and a Requiem Mass at St Thomas's Church by Father Maré for François Scornet who was killed in 1941 by the Germans in the grounds of St Ouen's Manor. He was repatriated from Victoria Pier and then by the yacht Callou to a Cemetery near to Plougean, Morlaix. The images include the hoisting of the Union Jack by Private R Marquis. The images were produced from the negatives depicted in Contact Sheet 11 of Red Contact File 18A from the Jersey Evening Post (JEP) Photographic Archive.
