Pen and ink sketch of an engaged couple sitting on a rustic bench, the initials of the couple are shown as carved onto the arm of the seat. Believed to be Annie Isabella Lamb and William James Mackay who married on the 23rd of August 1892. The signature of the artist is believed to be that of Arthur Lamb brother of the bride. The reverse of this image is a photograph of Mont Orgueil Castle and harbour taken before the railway was built c1872-3 [image 1322 taken by C.N.and Co.]
