Mr & Mrs Allaire talk about farm works, rations, food, the Red Cross parcels for children and adults, entertainment, clothes, school, electricity, collaboration, deportations and the prisonners of war during the Occupation. They also talk about Mr Allaire's family, farm work after the Occupation, cars, buses, tourism, radios, television, the Coronation and Royal Visits.

Mr Chall speaks about working at Jersey College for Girls during the occupation which was the German Naval Hospital, going to the pier on Liberation day, looking after the garden at the JCG, gardening, the return of the post and of the evacuees, entertainment after the occupation, the cinemas, his involvement in the battles of flower, car racing, horse racing, changes in politics in the states, the building boom, General Montgomery's visit, working at the FB fields during the draught, the death of the king and decorating the town for the coronation.
